About Me.

You and I are connected by one word: COVENANT. As you read my blog in the days and weeks ahead, I will explain more about why I believe this to be true.

I do not consider myself an expert by any means, but I have put in close to 34 years of study into what the Bible has to say about this thing we call life and how to live it.

Along the way, as a mom, a wife, a grandmother, a therapist, a sister, a friend, a Kid's Church teacher, and a chaplain, I have seen that God does indeed get very involved in the nitty gritty of our our daily lives.

But why does He love us so much? Or better yet, how could He love me so much? The answer lies in that odd word: COVENANT.

EXPERIENCE

1978-1980

Masters

Clinical & Child Psychology

I practiced in California as a Marriage, Family and Child Therapist. When I moved to Louisiana, I opened up a private practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have been a Christian counselor for 36 years.

1994-2013

I have been a part of a wonderful ladies Bible Study for 31 years. Together, we started a women's healing ministry called The Joy Conference. I was the keynote speaker for many years and took it on the road to Montana, New York and Tennessee.

2022-2023

Billy Graham Rapid Response Team

I have the great privilege of being a chaplain for the RRT when Samaritan's Purse responds to disasters or when there are mass shootings. We bring the good news of the Gospel to the hurting.
